The first strike that was for the same reasons was the 2013, because of the salary of teachers, administrative and workers, they gave a little more money that soon enough was nothing with the inflation, now we are with our necks under the water involving too the universities budget that isn't enough for even buying a light-bulb per school, there isn't enough for maintenance and the university is rotting down, there are edifices with holes in the ceilings and floors (2 as far as they told me), there is a giant fungus in one of them that made a lots of people sick and killed a teacher (got infected by the fungus the poor one), there are raids of criminals from time to time to steal students and university property from time to time (it was worst in 2013 since we were making marches, and revolts around the country, now it's kinda quiet still, but there is the occasional individual robbery ad armed hand), so the university can't hold it anymore and less when they want to impose more than 2500+ students for all careers joined, admitted by them without making a test for intellectual-vocational discrimination made by the university, so there is not only the fear that they will choose young people that like them, it's that we don't have the resources for all of those new students, as you see, at least the UCV can't continue with this abuse.

These days we have been quite critical about our governments and systems, don't you think, too much time spent venting rage.

You guys should elect better government officials, or else work harder to do away with the corruption Tongue out.

I forgot to mention my new job is as an Electronics sales associate at Walmart. :D

In other good news, I have a new laptop/netbook, so now I can hopefully visit here a bit more. I also can get my online radio station back up and running on a more permanent basis. I can hopefully also start writing my book again :D.

Darn... They even raid campuses? Out of the many places that they can rob?
And since there's inflation, wouldn't the universities charge much higher as time goes by, perhaps to a rate of quarterly revisions? Oh, and are universities subsidized, as in the local ones?

And Bran, it's not that easy given how our economy is doing, and how the system and structure of the country is. Even if a good 100k people stand up for something, the government can just choose to ignore us, and deploy some tactics like buying some other people to either counter what you do, use military force to take down the significant players, or make up a new law to put you in jail. We have little access to rights here. It is written in our constitution, but we have no legitimate or easy way of accessing any of it. So the constitution is basically for show, a written piece of long paper just to show other countries out there that we're a civilized country, on the outside. Other countries can't do much helping us either, cause of Extraterritorial Rights, and any intervention will be treated as disrespect and an attempt to invade our lands, claims the government.

And if we really do attempt to go large, many of our families won't hold out cause of the economy. If you're fired from your job cause of your actions, you're pretty much done. There isn't anything to help you and your family survive. We don't have stuff like unemployment benefits, and any kind of helpful welfare. Many would opt to not resisting cause they can have the chance to live longer, and help to keep their families alive and going.

As for you working at Walmart... wait what!? New laptop for just being a sales associate? Just wow...

    Edit:
And I've submitted my visa application. Now it just the wait...

yep, they raid the campuses and classrooms, just yesterday they robbed a faculty's computers, at least it isn't as violent as in 2013, the private universities are charging higher yes, the autonomous ones like my one are subsided by the government and that is what we are fighting for, the money for maintaining them, the professors, the budget, etc. Of course their public ones can't complain, they are totally molded by them, and for me they are disastrous (in academic standards). So by universities yo can say there are 3 types, and my own is world heritage (it's said like that), because of the architecture, the art, the UCV is art itself, its beautiful or I should say it was.

Don't forget brain washed people by their own media and leeches that take advantage of the situation and join their ranks and take part on all of it, well here by their own laws it's really difficult to fire a worker (as they are socialist) you have to guarantee a number of benefits, at least that is what they demand on private organizations, but they are worst, for not paying all that or even as when they discover that you have contrary political ideals they bully you, they make you renounce from your work making your life and work impossible, they not only damage your working property, they make you suffer all around (more psychologically than physically).

And if you have determination and creativity you can still survive, its more difficult to maintain a family, but its easier in venezuela than in most parts, because you can gain money from anything, you can sell food everywhere without the state permission (on queues to buy food you can make some money), you can even rent chairs on the large queues to buy food, sell handmade jewelry (by you), you can sell anything, and the dark side of it is that now that the necessity is around food, the people resell the food at even higher prices, and because you can't find it easily (cheap food and household products) they take advantage of it, they even sell their positions on the queue for buying food and reserve them, this economy is really flexible and crazy. And because they don't are strict with laws, you can survive begging for money, in the subway they can give you a lot per wagon and really fast, it depends on your excuse, you can invent an illness, actually have it or give some entertainment (if you don't get thrown away - caught by the authority). You can have lots of jobs of any kind and now prostitution is rising in young people =/.

But in the end that is for surviving, you can't live a decent life with so little or you can live it but you have to do some things that you may repent. Besides something of that (the last ones I suppose they are equal) everything else is kinda alike.

in here we have voting soon, I hope we achieve something, we have to fight this thing; you can lower the corruption tiding up the society, the people, the morals, the ethics, the law, the expectations and improving the system and social conditions overall, making opportunity for people to work for making things better. But still I believe it's really difficult to get rid of it, there is some degree of it in every system, its normal (as in every human lies, money in the middle of things, someone takes advantage of a little power for any reason), its impossible to make everyone to go by the book, bureaucracy doesn't make things any better most of the time and we look after our own interests (in this case in a "bad" way) but we have to take it against the corner and in a way that doesn't make disasters like in our systems.

Brandon, Congrats on your new laptop and work!!! after all this time I forgot about the topic of your book XD.

Lets hope for the better Japo, rest, work and wait, there is nothing else to do XD

Congrats Japo on your Visa Application, I am sure it will be accepted.

Sorry to hear all that, sounds like a dictatorship to me. Sounds like the only thing your government may ever succumb to is international pressure, that is one thing they cant control, prevent, shut down or ignore as it will just keep coming. Then again, if the USA ever puts pressure on anyway nowadays, Russia will just come to that country's defense. Neutral

Sorry that I've been off. It was hectic last week, and my cousin just got married, the first among us cousins. Time is just rocketing by now and I'm hearing all sorts of stories of how others are building and maintaining their families, from the younger ones this time, instead of those from my parents' generation. It doesn't feel as close until someone from about your age actually tells you about it, and then someone close to you is actually taking their step forward already.
And I barely got to sleep over the weekend, and honestly, the ceremony itself has little to do with me but I ended up doing a number of the work, at the very last day too cause I was only told that the seats weren't assigned yet, and they want to put a slideshow of the couple's photos... all the yada yadas and tiny stuff that they didn't care about until the last night right before the wedding ceremony. Ended up doing them and slept at 5am for the first day, and for the 2nd day I had to wake up at 6am... My brain is just fried now. So do forgive me if I'm not making any sense.

Hmm... The situation there is really a projection of what my country may become, except for the raids on campuses (don't see that coming anytime soon, yet, but it's still possible, knowing my own 'countrymen'). But our people are aware of it, the severity of the situation and a need for change, except that it is very hard for us to move our pieces on this chessboard, cause the economy is just getting worse, and our cost of living is expected to have another sharp rise next year too, given that the government has decided to provide less subsidies for certain sectors (mostly affecting the food producers and sellers). The rise in cost of living will only cause those in the lower, lower-middle, and middle income group to suffer further, seeing that our wages is still not rising (unless if you're still getting the base salary which is getting a slight upgrade to RM1k a month but that's still impossible for anyone to survive with that amount). It's actually funny that the government is still trying to continue giving out money for free for certain groups (students and elderly, c'mon these people have the adults to take care of them) when they're taking off the subsidies. They have two big projects in mind for next year (surprise surprise...), and I get that it's a good method of getting investment, especially foreign ones that have become less in the past few quarters, but our problem isn't really that we're not getting enough investments cause foreigners aren't interested in us. It's our government that has made them lose confidence but the government doesn't want to admit that and just proceeds with their rouge-like demeanour of managing the country and its finances, and dancing their waltz with the opposition by shooting acidic comments at each other.

And reading the part on beggars, we have that here, a lot. You can see em all over the streets sometimes, but they don't explicitly show it. Some really have their hands cut off, but we don't know if he lost it himself, or if someone actually cut it off for him and tossed him on the road to beg for money so that they can get the money from them later. Some would con you into giving them money but saying that they need money to take a bus or taxi to get back home or something. There are also youngsters (like healthy and mentally sane ones) that would walk up to you and start vomiting lines and lines of beautiful and pity-begging sentences to ask you to donate for some orphanage made for disabled kids (They would show you newspaper cuttings regarding the orphanage, authorization letters that gave them the right to collect donation, and even their identity card, but no one knows where these money actually go. Some who had did it actually admitted that they get to take a part of the donation as commission), or they'd just set you up with guilt. These things have been going on for more than 10 years already but it still never gets old, and just gets worse as time goes by.

And Bran, there has been some pressure coming from a few countries already, like China for example. One of their ambassadors visited the country about a month ago and said that they will not tolerate with racial discrimination or violence against races (at that point of time, a certain Chinese street was threatened to get raided, and the ambassador actually visited the street on the day before the said date). A certain race in the country, at least, a couple of em, actually talked back saying that China should not interfere with or have any say in our internal businesses, especially that related to races cause in China itself, they discriminate the Chinese Muslims. I mean, it may be true that the issue in China persists, but that doesn't justify to why people can't comment on your doings in the country. It's like a black kettle telling a black kettle that was condemning them to mind their own business while it continues being black (Forgive me but this can be quite a racial statement itself Tongue out laughing). But know this, a small country like ours means nothing for large powers. Just think of this: people know Singapore more than they know Malaysia, despite their sizes on the world map.

So yeah... Lots of ranting there. My country is still a place worth visiting, especially if you love to eat and enjoy nature. But to stay here, I would advise against so.

And I'm still waiting for a reply from the Canadian High Commissioner in Singapore (can't apply from my own country, funnily enough). I am keeping my fingers crossed, tight, on this. Thanks guys.

It's bothersome but I suppose that something like that happening, you are quite used to that (planning something at the last hour), well I hope that at least you had a good time in the wedding, you say your brain is fried but you made sense at least XD, in here its quite difficult to make a family, you can't even find diapers, but usually I think, old people around the 25-27 or in the thirties were the ones that got together if you are in the middle and high class (having just 1 or 2 kids). Still just a few years ago there were people around the 21-23 getting together, but if you don't make too much plans, don't use preservatives and don't have a good sexual education, and have the values of the lower classes, then there is where you can see families with lots of kids and very young parents, or at least a house with the young mom, the kids and her family, the father being absent. It depends because the situation is changing so fast that there are phenomenons happening not seen before in this society or at least not so frequently, its a disaster to say the least, but it occurs I believe because lack of information, resources, modern values and they do what they do for surviving their environment, well it's all mixed now, our environment.

Yep, your country in some aspects is like a mirror, it's kinda the same but with a different context, I hope that you don't get to where we are XD.

Well at least in here they don't cut off the beggar's hand, for making money its easier to rob, to kidnap and kill if you are pissed, and sell drugs, the money flows on the drugs so there is no need to have a network of beggars I think XD, I don't know if there are, but possibly.

At least we don't have a strong racism, everything is mixed to the core, you can see racism is where there is accumulated people of certain color or culture, and they sometimes develop that hate towards the "counter" side, because of our situation some people have developed hate towards other latin american people because they have supported the current situation, instead of working for developing things (like the European migration while in the first and second world war) they backed up the rise of the ghettos (? don't know if its the good translation of "barrio" in plural), but that is our fault too because we made it so easily to live without doing anything productive because of the oil and it's explainable because the values of these people that came where totally or mostly different from the European people of that time, of course not everyone is like that.

And surprisingly the chinese culture in here (that is quite strong since we have a huge debt with china and they own already a lot of our stuff) stays really secluded kinda impermeable on some things like you have described before, but I believe they will mix in one way or another, I had a chinese friend that had a venezuelan girlfriend, still it's not well seen by them, but the mix is happening (in how we coexist), at least with the old venezuelan chinese people, but we have a lot of new chinese so with them we have to begin nearly by 0 XD unless they gain some of the values of the old chinese.

I believe our solution has to come from the inside, but the pieces have to be set, the people in here is angry, every class, but the former government supporters prefer to not vote instead of voting with the opposition, and there isn't a third option that can take them, and that doesn't come from the government nor the opposition, we will see what will come this december with the elections (of deputies, legislative power).

My country is worth visiting too, because of the nature marvels, and the people, I hope there are still surviving legends of the good venezuelan people and their hospitality.

The time will come, I hope the fruits of working hard grow fast, at least you have made your own luck until now in this regard XD.

I'm still on strike but I'm progressing on the investigative projects, and still studying Italian.

I thank working with people who love procrastinating despite the time. Malaysians are just way too relaxed with whatever they do. They may be serious sometimes, but they just don't take the initiative to finish things early and rest easy till the plan hatches. It's always only by the eleventh hour that they start panicking, fumbling around everything, and start pulling everyone else along to help them get their job done. Of course the job can be done, but not without tiring out themselves, or perhaps other people but themselves. But since the job is done, they wouldn't think that it's okay not to settle things early, which just reconfirms their mindset. Ugh...

The thing about marriage though, it sounds pretty tough to start a new family there. There's also the trouble with raising the kids when they were just born too, since they still can't make sense of the world and you have to actually watch over them a lot. And regarding diapers, I remember the old days here where my parents and grandparents just use any cloth and wrap it around them as undies. For one thing, it's reusable cause you can wash it, which saves the trouble of having the need to constantly buy new diapers.
And fathers running away? We have that a lot here too. It's either that he's just gone without any news, or gotten away with another girl already. That's been happening very frequently for the past 10 years. I believe education and upbringing plays some role here, both for the father and the mother. They're marrying way too young here, some hadn't even graduated from high school. I have friends that got married at the age of 16 here, either cause they got pregnant, or that they just felt like it (cause 16 is the legal age for marriage, with the parents' consent, and it doesn't violate the sex law, not that everyone knows of this here anyway).

And speaking of underground networks, we have those as well, the drug dealing ones. We're so close to the Golden Triangle after all, where all the drug networks are going on. Those are, of course, the big reel-ins for the underground bosses, but these beggars (some times a child!) are another source of income. They chop off their limbs or remove their organs for money, cause they can sell it away in the black market for a high price.

It's actually pretty hard for us to work at things, given how racism persists in the country and is actually a driving force that made certain sectors more successful than others. It's a little like the story of Maou Yuusha (the twist in story of The Demon Queen and the Hero), where the central country fueled the hatred of humans towards demons to actually unite them. But that's humans, using a common enemy as a reason to work together. We're to a point where some of us don't dine in an eatery managed by another race. But the problem has been a lingering one, even before independence. My opinion is that the government did not really do things to actually unite the people as they claim so, but actually continued fueling racial sentiments to strengthen their political stand, and it simply is getting worse, and we are at the verge where even the government will be toppled by the strong sentiments that we have towards each other. If the government had not interfered though, as in fueling the sentiments, we may have very well settled ourselves well with the coexistence.

And the 1MDB Scandal, biggest shame yet... How much do you guys know about the scandal from your sources though?
This is really hurting our image, our economy, and our very lives now. It hasn't even been resolved, and will likely take a long time. But with this in the way, I don't think there would be many that would have the guts to even invest in our government's projects (two are on the way, mega ones). They're cutting away subsidies, rising toll fares, increasing cost of public transport and almost everything, while trying to use whatever money left to fund the mega projects to attract foreign investment. Where in the world is all this money going to in the end though, when it doesn't even go back to the people?

Every country's got something to be proud of, despite our shortcomings and perhaps something like big government scandals, that I am certain. I should be off now. I hope the strike won't last too long to really affect daily lives there though Vic.

Wow that sounds crazy Japo! Underground tunnels!

Vic, Venezuela sounds alot better then I thought, I thought it was reined by a huge civil war or something (there was this playstation 2 game based in Venezuela and it was about factions that fought each other, shame on me for thinking that was based on reality at all).

In other news, work on my book has resumed, sort of, I re wrote part of what I had already written to make it better and also corrected some grammar mistakes, but didn't make any progress in the story, it still leaves off where it had before Tongue out.

Human trafficking sounds crazy to most of the West cause people are very aware of human rights and have access to the right power to overthrow these kinds of connections. The East aren't as lucky. Some of us may be aware of it but we don't have an easy way to access to it. We don't have many unions (like Worker Unions for eg), and even if they do exist, their power is very limited. No one dares to start a strike too, cause of our mindset. Our demonstrations are almost always peaceful as well, cause we don't want to jeopardize our current lives but at the same time, we want change.

And Venezuela did have a Civil War before, but that was a long long time ago.

As for your book, I'm quite looking forward to reading it. But don't worry and go ahead and take your time. It's never a good story if the plot is rushed.

Oh yes, Human trafficking is some sick stuff! Those people who do it, deserve to be locked up in a cage with the key thrown out or into a fire or something.

Haven't made any more progress on my book yet, busy with school and work and my days off I usually focus on my online radio stations things. I hope to continue writing it very very soon, make some actual progress as far as the plot :D.

And here I'm without a good night of sleep, I wonder I'm still not capable of administering well my time, not so productive, yep Venezuela isn't in a civil war but it seems like that is the situation since the insecurity every day and week kills lots of people, sorry for saying this but there is more dead than what france had, still it's a horrible thing what france had, it seems there is a long way to go until we develop societies to a point in which violence is more controlled and we don't damage ourselves for selfishness or reasons that go against our survival and development as a species, as a community.

So doing a project for psychology and going with the italian course (going quite badly in this last one, I haven't dedicated the needed time), being in a strike without too much classes and I can't handle some things XD, how much that says of me, well, lets keep doing our best; on another news, I invited a girl that seemed to like me, she accepted but canceled just before the date, it seems that she has a boyfriend but her conduct says that in some way she likes me, I'm not going to enter into some complicated stuff, but still its frustrating when one receives mixed signals.

Nop japo I haven't heard of that scandal, very few stuff is known in here about Asia, only technological stuff comes through, or some china rumors, but nothing else except the things that goes through the internet and goes viral or passes through English speakers, and in here the government unites the people against an enemy to brainwash them and rob together XD, corrupts. The strike only includes workers, teachers and the autonomous universities, it doesn't include government universities or private universities, and only affects us the group related to those universities, so for the government isn't much of an issue, they want to intervene us and makes us theirs, they want to rob the autonomy and do whatever they want to do with the educational system once and for all, because lots of us are against them, and we teach Ideas contrary to theirs, or dangerous as it develops critical thinking (well, that is an idealistic point of view); the university always had some huge group against the governing party, and there are a lot of important people against the government from the university, so we have the problems granted.

Yep we will have to use reusable diapers, what is problematic for women is that here you can't find tampons, their private towels, things like that, and medicines, that is a whole other problem, there is people dying because you can't find lots of medicines.

Good luck with your book Brandon, dedicate a little daily or weekly time to it and soon enough it will be ready =P.

I would like to write more, I will dedicate time to it, I enjoy it from time to time (like writing somethings in here that looks like essays), a year ago I wrote a little tale in english (I believe you remember it japo, the crazy maniac guy, mine, not the story from unicornprancer that was really good let me say), now I reread it and it had some few grammatical mistakes, and a month ago I wrote a story in italian, like 11 lines, it costs me to write for now in that language since there are lots of rules and words I still don't know, but I did it as practice XD, I wanted to do more but I nearly spent half a day in 11 lines (editing, re-editing and ideas rising in all hours) and didn't had the time because of other duties, at least one friend liked my story (he studied letters, so it's good a good connoisseur said something good about my writing XD) , I hope to make more in vacations and to practice my writing in all languages I know (english, Italian and my mother language spanish).

The problem with wanting stability, to live and want change at the same time, it's some difficult situation, we have the same here, only something strong can overthrown the government, but we won't do something radical, still I hope we can achieve something good through voting this december and convince the people, a large majority to do something against them in a way that doesn't get the people killed.

I'm sorry if I didn't make some sense in some part, its been more than a week since I wrote in here, and I'm dying of somnolence, have a good day both of you, I'm not death, still living and kicking.

    @brandon_g
I know right? What in their right mind made them sell their own species off?
But there's also the "selling" of sports players to other teams, clubs, or states for earning of money and commission, and somehow that's all legal. It doesn't sound any different from human trafficking in my understanding, but people are doing it, and legally too. Does it make human trafficking legal if it's with the consent of the person being "sold"?

    @"VicxmD"
Humans, at our very root, are animals, except that we have a developed larynx that helps our speech, and a brain that can make some level of decision. But at the end of the day, we are no different in terms of our instincts, that we want to protect those of our own tribes, or some may attempt to take over what others own for the sake of their own tribe. But at times, we're worse than animals, cause there are those who are entirely selfish. There's hardly anything to hold us back, to be honest. Some people couldn't care less about the law, and some wouldn't even think of how others would suffer from their actions. And, after all, all of what we do and what we think of is our own decision, of our own volition. Education can do little about it, ethics and conduct are but roughly designed guidelines to live in a socially-fenced community, and religion isn't in as much influence as it had.
But to really solve the root of the problem, I think a simple mindset can have some effect on it, and that is we, as in each and every one of us, should know that we are not the only main character in our lives. A good analogy would be that we're all playing this first-person view game, and every one of us can only see things from our own viewpoint at one time, but we must realize that others share a different viewpoint than where you stand.

It sounds tough having to endure through something that other people are doing and that you're barely involved in, but hey, something's got to happen.
And well, the mixed signal thing happens a lot these days. I would doubt if I'm being too self-aware sometimes, but some girls just have no sense of the signals that they're giving out. Once I was aware of that, I've become quite immune. Hate that feeling of disappointment for one thing, but it kinda feels like I was cheated, perhaps by my own sense.

    And that figures.
And I think the government wouldn't even be budged by much until they see that it's potentially causing them serious problems. But on the other hand, their objective of getting people to support them is always ongoing. But if the universities are teaching ideas that contradict what they want, you can likely expect some bad stuff to happen coming from them.

Won't there be black markets for these items then, since it's not available in the market?

And speaking of writing, perhaps you can write something regarding your country, perhaps to raise awareness among your people? But that's gonna take some time, and it's only gonna work if people like to read, or would take their time to read. And some level of influence may be needed, which may draw attention from the government. Ummm... That was some random thought.

It's tough to ask for change when you're being controlled by the party that doesn't want you to change them. They have the power to do things, and that they can simply render your changes to nothing.

I'm pretty beat up myself these days. It's supposed to be my last week before I submit my research work, and I still have quite a number to do. But my brain isn't acting like it should. Such a bad timing, but perhaps it's cause I've over-strained it again. Sorry if I'm not making sense.

The answer to that Japo is: MONEY and GREED! They want money so bad that they will do anything and everything to get it, I suppose the easiest way for them (pimps and people who good at convincing others to what they want) to get it. They naturally are good at convincing people, now all you gotta do is keep convincing the people your selling that they love you or something and bingo your good. Much easier and alot less risky then robbing a bank or something if I do say so myself.

It's not as simple here actually, cause love is not a word that we utter every day to everyone, not even to our own family. It's just the culture here. Anyone who utters it every day is seen as someone who's out of touch with society. I'm not sure if you're actually talking about the human trafficking problem here, but if that is, I'm pretty sure almost all the news that I've heard relates to the people being kidnapped or missing for some time, and then was found somewhere on the streets of Thailand.

But if you're talking about scams and frauds, then it's a different approach altogether. They feed on your kindness, or they send you on a guilt trip.

I'm sorry for my inactivity. I've been very busy trying to make ends meet for the research. There's just so much to do. And I'm still waiting for my visa too and December's coming already. I'm getting more and more anxious as the countdown goes lesser everyday, and I can't do anything but wait. I still haven't bought my flight tickets or rent a room there cause of it. I'm gonna have trouble if this goes on.

Nah. It's fine Bran. I hope everyone visits once in a while (despite, yes, we're all very busy now) and at least update each other on stuff.

I'm putting everything onto the research now. I am still worried about my visa though. This is now the 4th week in, and I've not gotten any updates. Emailed the embassy and there's been no replies for the past 4 working days. Planning to give em a call tomorrow morning. Have you guys had any problems with embassies before? I don't know but it's like I'm getting quite some trouble despite seeing a lot of people getting through but not me. Followed everything they asked for, prepared as detailedly as I can, but got rejected and without even a chance to add new documents to support myself. And I had practically no way of directly contacting them too. I don't know but I don't think that's how an embassy is supposed to work.

I hope they reply soon though. I can't proceed with other stuff if they don't. And time is just ticking away. Classes will start on Jan 4th. I have only less than 6 weeks left now. Still hadn't bought my flight ticket and got a rental down.

Well, the products that aren't easy to find are regulated by the government, the regulated products are the cheapest, but are the hardest to find and they are only sold by certain places besides the government markets that are willing to endure a huge and large line of people that can go like a serpent for several blocks in the street, and the black market would be the "bachaqueros" (re-sellers), they bear the queue for buying even sleeping the day before in the street to be the firsts on the line (not only then, even "regular" people do that), or they wake up more early than the regular in here and go to make the line before dawn. There are lots of resellers that find their products like that or the same distributors save some of the goods and sell them at higher prices, and who knows lots of other ways, the economy is really distorted, but I won't talk too much about that for now.

The messages, posts or information that go against the government are watched, controlled or blocked y simply support a little by sharing - handing information on some subjects, and by example and some of my opinions, but the government itself is doing the job by screwing up a lot in these days, have you heard about the 2 cousins of the first lady that where caught while dealing with drugs with a cover agent? not only that, the EEUU took a boat full of "sniff" (cocaine) XD and its related to the chairman of the camber of deputes (cabello) - I think its said like that? -. But I really don't wanna to meddle too much in those subjects, I prefer to have a low profile if there is not something important that I feel the need to do, or act behind the scenes.

Hum the kidnapped people, that is a business in here, lots of organized criminals in hand with the corrupt security forces mark people with supposedly high social status and kidnap them or they simply make a express kidnap ("secuestro express") with anybody in the street in a zone of high status or if the person looks rich or they know to where he goes always, where he lives after watching that person for days and suppose that he/she has money and they kidnap them. But they don't sell the people or traffic them, they just take the ransom, throw them away if the family don't have money or anything of value or kill them instead (or even if they are given the ransom on some cases I believe). The government used to disappear students the days of the strike on 2013 to instill fear and suppress it.

I have been busy and still am, this saturday is the last day of the level I'm coursing in italian, the last 2 exams and I have still to progress on the projects in psychology, in fact I have a report to do meanwhile in team, I have to progress in that, so I have to handles these 2 things for now, not so hard I believe XD (I hope to be fine for the exam and not hinder it because of the project even with my companions demand my piece of it and guidance since I'm one of those that are in the head of our group and project).

Hum I spoke a little more than expected XD, yeah everyone is busy. So there is nothing else to do japo, you did everything you could =/, I hope they answer you by phone, that they give and answer soon and everything goes alright, but beside that there is nothing else than to wait. Good luck with that and your research, I will report back surely after (more probably XD) or during the weekend, or maybe in one or two minutes while I'm resting from the studies if there is something to answer and I don't get myself too involved in answering XP (but I like more to reply profoundly), see you soon guys!

I'm here. For a brief moment. I'm at the very south of Malaysia right now. Went over to Singapore to try get my visa done. I've gotten a reply, and just quickly rushed south. Will take me a couple of days though.

And I'll be working on the research as a full time RA to quickly burn through the whole thing. Hopefully I'll be able to get it done by the deadlines that I've set. Too much time has been wasted previously (about 2 months time, by the person who's supposed to take over my work), so we're just rushing to get everything done now. I might still be on and off inconsistently but I'll try to reply.

Sorry that I can't reply or read through your messages for now guys. My brain is toasted. Walked around Singapore to try get my visa done but to no avail (bah, some pointless procedures), and then I had to cross the border back today (OMG the exchange rate was killing me so quickly). A lot of walking, and a lot of waiting (unnecessarily long cause people here aren't civilized enough to line up to get onto the bus). Took me almost 4 hours to get back to Malaysia thanks to that.

    I'll be back guys.

No problem japo, take the time you need =P, I have my hands full for now as well, but I enjoy to rest a while from what I have to do from time to time XD, as for now I'm writing a little before sleeping, keep your fight for your visa XD, you seem quite annoyed and enraged, at least you got to travel a little. Go on full speed on that research! I myself am doing my project XP, the problem is that I'm going slower because it's in a great team, and everyone has to do something of it, and not everyone knows how to, and like the gossips, some procedures, data and details get lost while passing from person to person =/, I have (or gave myself the duty) to be over everything (and explain some stuff) so it develops fully and well enough so it ends in something decent, with some good results. I think I give myself too much importance but there is other people here that knows his stuff and we help each other, but I consider myself to be one of the more detailed and knowledgeable in the matter. (Here is where we have to give the tasks to whomever have the best set of skills for it).

I have amazing news XD, the opposition won the parliamentary voting!!!!!! of a total of 167 deputes we won 99 and they 45, and we should have 113 but they don't want to give us that, still, its something really amazing, even with all the traps and hoax (we should have 113 or more, and they are revising those cases in which there is little difference), the minister of defense had to tell them to accept the results because a great piece of the military voted for the opposition, if they didn't accept this, maybe this could have gone into a civil war. The fu%#ers even modified the software for voting so it could gave lots of null votes, and so they could take their people to vote when they had deactivated it, but not even that, neither the cubans, the fake IDs and phantom people could change the results!!!!

So today is really a new day for my people, today is a day of hope and joy
